Our refund and returns policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require your proof of purchase (invoice).

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Warranty Policy

Our products carry a 36 month to 12 month warranty depending on the product. The Dahua HDCVI cameras and DVRs carry a 36 month warranty, but the Dahua COOPER series (cameras and DVRs) have a warranty period of 24 months. The Dahua Network cameras, PTZ and NVRs carry a 36 month warranty. Note that all moving parts (like belt drives, etc) inside the cameras only carry a 12 month warranty. Non Dahua products carry a 12 month warranty.

It is up to the client to send (and pay for the courier costs) us the faulty goods. Please note, if sending back a product, the invoice and all accessories (e.g. power supply) must also be returned. Upon receiving the products our technical department will access the products and could decide to send it back to the manufacturer. We or the manufacturer may decide to repair or replace it (if under warranty) and send the product back to the client within the borders of South Africa. CCTV Shop will pay for the couriers to return the product to the client within the borders of South Africa. If the product was found to be not faulty, the client will pay for the courier costs back to the client. Please note: Lightning damage, voltage spikes (low or high) or damaged products are not covered under our warranty.

If you are not happy with your purchase made you may return the products within 7 days with its original packaging and invoice for a refund. The products and packaging (box) must be free of any damage or scratches.

Please note that there is a 15% handling fee which will be deducted from the price. Shipping costs are for your account when returning the products.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
